German Shepherd Sizing & Measuring Guide

Ensure the perfect, chafe-free fit for your dog's unique deep-chested anatomy.

How to Accurately Measure Your German Shepherd

1. Chest Girth (Most Critical Measurement)

Using a flexible soft tape measure, wrap around the widest part of your dog's ribcage, approximately 2 to 3 inches behind their front legs. Keep the tape snug against the fur without pulling tight.

2. Neck Girth

Measure around the base of your dog's neck where a standard collar sits comfortably. Ensure you can fit two fingers between the tape and their neck for comfortable breathing room.
